Dancing with family and friends is a favorite way to release tension and build community in nearly every culture around the world, and the ease of movement and strong core muscles that come with this joyful activity are definitely a bonus! After a brief strengthening warm-up, we’ll enjoy a moderately-paced cardio dance class featuring earthy, grounded movements of the Middle-East, Latin America, and Africa set to music, followed by a hip and shoulder opening cooldown. No dance experience is necessary; fun, easy-to-follow movements will be broken down and repeated so that everyone is comfortable!
